Spring is in the Air

As the sun went down tonight, I realized how long our days have become. It is now 8:30 pm and the sun finally went down a few minutes ago. This every day occurrence is a miraculous one and I am very grateful to God for His wonderful creation.

The daffodils in front of our ward building and the red colored tulips in front of our apartment complex are already bursting out of their winter cocoon and the yellow & red flowers are finally peeking their way through their buds. The laughter of children playing in the parking lot and the noise of car honking their horns let me know Spring is here pulling Summer towards us.

We had a very nice Sacrament service today and as we tipped toed our way out the building doors, we all felt the 70 degree weather that was radiating from the bright sun above us. Thank you Lord for this wonderful day as I attended church, visiting the sick and writing.

Chapter 22 of "Flying on the Wings of a Dove" will be posted next Monday instead of this Monday. I will be babysitting this Monday through Wednesday and this means I will be away from the computer for 3 days.

I hope your weather is as nice as ours. Thank you for stopping by and I want to leave you with this little poem.

God's Tapestry

Have faith in God's great goodness
keep Him first in all you do,
Pray for understanding
of His grand design for you.
Give thanks for all His blessings
and live each day joyfully
Remembering your a special part of God's own tapestry.
