Breakfast with God

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This way of thinking has been well know in every culture, but mothers are not the only ones acknowledging this claim...scientists and doctors have spent millions of dollars trying to figure out what Moms around the world have known all along.

A good breakfast before starting the day will get you going, but a spiritual nutritious breakfast is even more important. Proverbs 31:15 states that a virtuous woman rises early to get spiritual food for her household and in Psalms 63:1,  it says..."O God, you are my God early will I seek you."

When we begin our day with a good nutritional spiritual breakfast, prayers are heard, meditation is achieved, worship is felt, the telephone lines between heaven and earth are channeled, our days are more meaningful, patience is acquired, our daily tasks become easy, anger is abolished, love is achieved, understanding is understood and our lives begins and ends in a peaceful rest.

This "food for the soul" is truly food that the world does not know about, in which prepares us to accomplish  each day with the Lord's will. Regardless of how the day may take us or how it may end with the situations we may encounter, we have a sword and a shield that enables us to fight the adversary and to have a renewed mind with the Savior.

After having our breakfast with God, we can then be prepared to face the world less stressed and less frustration.  In John 4:32 Jesus said he was motivated and energized by walking in obedience to the Father and in doing His will. The same must be true for all of us who seek to follow in his footsteps.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Don't leave home without it. A good breakfast will stay with you all day.
