A Great Jewelry Cleaning Tip
Like I say January and February are the busiest months of the year for me. I haven't stopped since the new year started cleaning, reorganizing and purging. One thing that was on my list was cleaning my jewelry drawer.
Jewelry through time tends to lose its luster after various uses.
For years now I have cleaned all my jewelry with toothbrush. This last weekend I took a good 2 hour of my day to clean all my good jewelry and all my costume jewelry and I must say they came out beautiful. White Colgate toothpaste is the best and safest cleaner you can use on your jewelry, giving your jewelry a brilliant luster and shine.
This is what you need to do:
Fill up a small wash tub or bowl with some warm water...then scrub each piece with the toothbrush with toothpaste & water, then rinse each piece of jewelry well with warm water and then place them on a dry bath towel to dry completely. After your jewelry is completely dried you can then store them away.
Take a look at how nice my jewelry came out.
Everything is now cleaned and organized.
wow, you have lots of jewelry...thanks for the tip-will try it!
