Reaching My Golden Years Slowly

Life is going to fast for me.

This last Saturday we were celebrating my little cousin Brandon's High School Graduation. The entire family and many close friends to the family were in attendance. Great food, wonderful hugs and many conversations kept everybody chatting and eating the day away. But all of a sudden I realized how much older I was getting as I observed many of the babies in our family were either married already or in college.

I stared at my grand-daughter as she played with some of her cousins in the pool and I also realized that even though she is 10 yrs. old,  in a few years we would be celebrating her graduation. Life is definitely going too fast for me and it scares me to reach those golden years.

Now I feel old and so behind in time, but since everything has a season,  I must be content with mine. I am blessed to have such a great family and to enjoy some time with them this last weekend...thank you Lord.
